HOTEL REVIEW - Charm City Motel and Apartments - Bundaberg

The Charm City Motel and Apartments is a privately owned and operated 3½-star motel which also features fully self-contained 4-star apartments   It is located on Takalvan Street which is one of the main roads in to and out of Bundaberg.  There are other motels nearby.

I was in Bundaberg for a sports carnival and the other gentlemen that I stayed with all agreed with my assessment that the Charm City Motel was a fantastic and very friendly place to stay.

The motel rooms that we all stayed in, had a similar layout, with two beds - one queen and one single - and an en-suite bathroom which was quite spacious, except for the hand basin which was small!

The rooms were serviced daily, and the tea and coffee making facilities were restocked daily too.  The room also featured air-conditioning, iron and ironing board, LCD television with a limited selection of pay-TV channels, and a wide range of kitchen and cooking implements and utensils.  Essentially the motel room could also be considered to be able to be self-contained.

Ample car parking outside the rooms and in a laneway to the side of the building.

Other outside features included a user-pays laundry, as well as an attractive and very appointed outdoor pool and barbeque area, which guests are encouraged to utilize.

This area also doubled as out breakfast area, although the motel offers full hot cooked breakfasts and dinners via room service.

It was truly a great stay at the Charm City Motel in Bundaberg. A very well appointed room and with excellent facilities, and fantastic staff who were extraordinarily accommodating and friendly.

  1. I need a room which features air-conditioning, iron and ironing board, LCD television with a limited selection of pay-TV channels, and a wide range of kitchen and cooking implements and utensils. I think this will suit me, thanks and keep sharing.
